Cumberland Public Libraries is currently seeking applications for a part-time Branch Library Clerk at our Pugwash location. This is a part-time position, working approximately 10 to 12 hours per week.

Service Update: Hoopla Monthly Limit Update
Due to financial constraints, CPL users accessing Hoopla will be limited to 5 borrows per month starting May 1st, 2025.

Advocate Closed as of March 17 Due to Building Issues
Our Advocate Library will be closing Monday, March 17 for the foreseeable future, due to building issues. We will provide more details about this ongoing situation as they become available.
At this time, we ask Advocate patrons to redirect holds to another location for pickup. If you need assistance with this, please call one of our other locations.
If you are unable to visit another location, our Borrow By Mail service can accommodate your library needs. To register for Borrow By Mail, please fill out the form on our website, or call 902-667-2549 (ext. 228).
