Canada Post Labour Disruption – Impact on Cumberland Public Libraries

The following library services are affected by the Canada Post labour disruption:

  • Cumberland Public Libraries’ patrons cannot place holds on materials outside of our region. For anyone using our online catalogue, we suggest saving out-of-region materials to your For Later shelf until holds can be placed. Holds placed on CPL materials will still be available to our partons.
  • Borrow By Mail service is suspended for the duration of the strike.
  • Anyone who registers for a library card online will receive their physical card after the strike.

Regular service will resume when the strike ends. Thank you for your understanding.
